கலத்ரம் வைதாத்ரம் கதி கதி பஜந்தே ந கவய:
ச்ரியோ தேவ்யா: கோ வா ந பவதி பதி: கைரபி தநை:
மஹா தேவம் ஹித்வா தவ ஸதி ஸதீநாம் அசரமே 
குசாப்யாம் ஆஸங்க: குரவக தரோர் அபி அஸுலப:

Many poets reach the Goddess of learning - Saraswathi the wife of the creator Brahma by composing soulful poems. Many who search and attain wealth are called as the Lord of the Goddess of wealth. But You - the first among the chaste women, except Lord Shiva - Your consort, Your breasts have not even touched the holy Kuravaka tree. (Maidens used to embrace this Kurvaka tree in those days).

படைக்கும் கடவுளான பிரமனின் மனைவியான சரஸ்வதியை பல புலவர்கள் மனம் உருக்கும் கவிதைகள் படைத்து நெருங்குகிறார்கள். செல்வத்தை தேடி அடையும் பலர் லக்ஷ்மிக்கே அதிபதி என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறார்கள். ஆனால் பவித்ரமான பெண்களில் முதன்மையான உன்னை, உனது தலைவனான சிவனைத் தவிர உனது ஸ்தனங்கள் புனிதமான குருவக மரத்தைக் கூட தீண்டியது இல்லை.
